Realize God’s Love for All Men John 3:16 & Romans 5:8
God’s love is the motivation for salvation! God’s love far exceeds any fault or failure that we as individuals may possess. The hope of each human being begins at the unconditional love found only in Jesus Christ. A love that was displayed clearly the day He died on a cross in our place.
Recognize Man’s Lost Condition Romans 3:23 & Romans 5:12
Without Christ the Bible states that we are “lost” and “undone”. Sin has separated God from man. Not just a spiritual separation, but a physical one as well. While sin currently keeps us from the will of God for our life, it will one day separate us from Him for all of eternity. There is a price for sin (Romans 6:23)!
Repent of Unbelief in Christ II Peter 3:9 & Mark 2:17
The word repent means “to change” or “to turn”. When a person realizes God’s love, and recognizes their lost condition they are faced with a decision. Either they are right or God is right. Many believe that trusting Christ is not a necessity in life, but without Him we are hopeless! For a person to trust Christ they must repent of their faith in any other option but Christ. Good deeds, feelings, church membership and family heritage cannot save (Ephesians 2:8-9). It is Christ alone that saves. The day one stands before the Lord the only thing that will matter is what you did with His free gift of Salvation
Receive God’s Free Gift of Salvation Romans 10:9-10,13
The Gospel brings us to a crossroads in our life. A choice must be made between accepting God’s free gift of Salvation and rejecting the truth. He paid the price for our pardon when He died at Calvary. He conquered death, hell and the grave through the resurrection, so that you and I could live a victorious life. He offers salvation to all who will place their faith in Him. This is personal decision every individual must make!
I Trusted Christ as my savior
Lord thank you for loving me. I know I am a sinner, and because of that sin, you died for me. I understand that true joy, genuine peace, and eternal life come only from you. I ask your forgiveness for my sin and ask you to save me. I place my trust in you and you alone. Come into my life and help me to live for you from this day forward. In Jesus name, Amen!
Salvation is not dependent upon the words that you say. Salvation is a matter of the heart!
Rejoice in Your New Life in Christ - II Corinthians 5:17.
Life can be challenging, confusing and even scary at times. Christ makes all the difference! Once you trust Christ as Savior, your life now has direction, purpose, and reason. Problems do not simply disappear when you invite Christ into your heart; however, you have a friend that will never abandon you during life’s greatest difficulties. You are now a child of the King! God the Father sees the righteousness of His only Son in you. Salvation provides us with a foundation to experience true joy. There is now the opportunity to live the victorious Christian life the way God intended for all.
